Dear Students, Parents, and Friends,

Reflecting on our first month of school, the word that comes to mind is gratitude. It is simply a gift to be wholly together as a community — to learn collectively and enjoy one another’s company and good humor each day. 

I see a lot of smiling faces as I walk around the campus and pop into classes. I see the volleyball team practicing and playing games; I see the stage lights on and students rehearsing scenes; I see science experiments; I see pickup basketball games during lunch; I see student art going up on the walls; I see the student government forming and starting to plan events; and I see teachers and students socializing and working together.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is: we’re off to a happy and wonderful start this year!

Introducing the 2021-2022 Interns!

We’re excited to introduce the 2021-2022 team of Development & Marketing Interns!

These 13 New School students (two aren’t pictured) will contribute to the fundraising and communications activities of the school by working on writing, graphic design, event planning, and photography. 

Five are returning interns while eight are brand new to the team – including the first ever middle schoolers!

We can’t wait to share all of their hard work this year. They are definitely going to have a big impact!

Download the BoxTops app to start scanning your grocery store receipts to automatically find and add products to our earnings online. This video shows you how to scan and submit your receipts.

If you do your grocery shopping online, you can submit your email receipts from select retailers. All you have to do is create a BoxTops account and forward your email receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com. Visit this site to learn more.

Traditional Box Tops clips may continue to be found on many products. You can still clip them and send them to the school until they expire.

Through Harris Teeter’s “Together in Education” program, when you buy HT brand items, a percentage of those purchase dollars goes back to The New School. This includes purchases made at HT pharmacies.
