The New School is a longtime member of the Independent Small Schools Athletic Conference (ISSAC) – a DMV-based league – and all of our students have the opportunity to participate on our sports teams, which include:

- Coed Volleyball
- Basketball
- E-sports
- Softball
Our teams are open to all, and our athletics program is defined by a spirit of inclusiveness, equal playing time, good-natured competition, and having fun.
The purpose of our athletics program is to advance our commitment to student opportunities and wellbeing, and our community values of collaboration and mutual support.
